Daybreak at Mumbai

19th Feb 2012.

I was going out for a photowalk after a long time. The plan was to visit Haji Ali Dargah and do some street photography. While shooting people, I just saw the scene below and could not resist. Not only was it a sublime beauty, also it bought to the fore the dichotomy of Mumbai. High rises and poor fishermen. Both co-exist in this city, cheek and jowl, without any apparent rancour.
