As we go through our daily grind, sometimes mindlessly, sometimes with enthusiasm, I am left wandering that would we not be better off, if we come to office with the enthusiasm we had when we went for our first date.
With every passing day, I see a slow but steady erosion of the motivation to make a difference. It is like the pressure seeping out of my vehicle tyres. Thankfully, my vehicle tyres can be handled by the gas station nearby.
Is it inevitable or there is a way by which this process can be reversed. Permanently. Or is it like ageing. Fait Accompli. I remember reading somewhere long back :
- First our dreams die, then our happiness,
- When these are dead, the earth claims its due
- And We die too !!
